2026 WHA News

We will be opening a new office in Branford, CT in March 2026! We’ve loved our cozy space in North Branford but we’ve outgrown it. The new office is located in the Thimble Creek Professional Office Complex at 420 East Main Street. We’ll be in Building 2, Suite 3. It’s conveniently close to I-95 and less than two miles from our old spot.

Our phone number will stay the same (203-483-1119) and we will continue to be open in this satellite office about three days/week. You’ll see all the same familiar WHA faces.

We’re knee deep in paint gallons and carpet samples but can’t wait to welcome you all to the new space this spring!

Yours,

WHA Midwives

WHA Midwives is a small, independent practice of certified nurse-midwives who weave together each client’s unique health needs and wellness goals with current evidence and best-practice recommendations. We are located in the New Haven area and serve families in all of Connecticut. Though midwives are well known for their expertise in pregnancy and birth, we also care for any person who wants our personal, direct, educational approach to gynecology from teen years through menopause.

We strive to take care of you the way we would want to be taken care of ourselves. We listen, we teach, we diagnose, we identify risks and opportunities. We will advise but we are here to facilitate your choices. We want you to learn about your body and your options, so you can engage in the process of taking care of yourself and your health.

MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDERS:
The roots of Women’s Health Associates began in “the old practice” with Marshall Holley, Debbie Cibelli and Linda Lisk in 1980. After Dr. Holley retired, Linda and Debbie went on to create one of the only independent, midwifery-owned private practices in the state. When WHA opened in 2004, we grew entirely by word of mouth. Women and families gave us their trust, and the practice flourished. We have followed some of you from your teenage years, through childbearing, and into menopause. We have had the joy of caring for generations of the same families, delivering the babies of babies we delivered! Though Debbie and Linda have long since retired, their vision and discipline of midwifery practice will always be the foundation and inspiration for Women’s Health Associates.
